Anthony Edwards

Anthony’s specialism is in heavy construction disputes arising from building & engineering activities both nationally and internationally. He has worked with most of the standard forms of contracts amongst others JCT, ICE, FIDIC, NEC, IChemE on projects involving hospitals, water treatment plants, railways, power stations, petro-chemical, mechanical & electrical services and bridges and domestic premises.

Anthony appears regularly in the Technology and Construction Courts. He is a Chartered Arbitrator (FCIArb Dip ICArb), Accredited Adjudicator (CIArb, CIOB, IChemE) and Accredited Mediator (CEDR, CIArb, TeCSA, ADR Group).

The experience and skills Anthony has obtained from acting as a chartered arbitrator and an accredited adjudicator allows him to deal with all types of commercial and contractual disputes.

Anthony’s specialism overlaps into professional negligence and property disputes. His experience as a surveyor enables him to undertake general property work which includes party wall, boundary disputes, dilapidations, flood damage, restricted covenants and easements. His technical background as a surveyor assists when dealing with professional negligence in relation to surveyors, architects, engineers and solicitors.

Anthony has recently been appointed to the TECBAR panel to undertake appointments as Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Mediator. This panel is in addition to the other panels such as; IChemE, CIArb and FIDIC which Anthony can be directly appointed through. Appointments can be made directly through TECBAR or via Chambers.
