Employment LawSean is a civil practitioner specialising in employment law; he also has a wide experience in commercial and property law.
He is regularly instructed in lengthy and involved employment matters for both claimants and respondents/defendants, including complex discrimination and ‘whistle-blowing’ cases. His employment practice encompasses the full gamut of Employment Tribunal and High Court work, both as an advocate and in an advisory capacity. Sean is well-versed in the military disciplinary and grievance regimes, including courts martial.
Prior to practising law, Sean was a senior air force officer, and completed his degree dissertation in the field of aviation law. He concluded his career in the British Embassy in Moscow. Whilst Sean is qualified as a military interpreter, he is capable of translating most legal documentation. He relishes any opportunity to keep his linguistic skills fresh.
Sean regularly acts as advocate in commercial mediations and is a qualified commercial mediator with an expanding practice.
Sean is continuing to study for his private pilots’ licence. He is also a keen theatre goer and music fan (he is a member of the RSC and the Cheltenham Festivals). Sean also rides and is a novice bee-keeper.
